problem occurs when I try to connect the Home LAN to the Internet. I have a Linksys 5 port Switch EZXS55W and a Cisco 677 ADSL Router. When I connect the Cisco 677 directly to the Switch, my computer cannot connect to the internet. I called Frontier and they have been of no help.

Since the phones only use a total of 4 wires between both lines, I am thinking that the unused wires can be used to create a home LAN. My questions: (1) Will I get interference with phone and LAN over the same cable? If so, will it be tolerable? I don't expect that I'll care if I can get 100baseT or not.

This means that even if I have network properties correctly set up, the computer still boots on to the home LAN (since this is allways physically available). There seems to be no way to tell the client that the home LAN is not the way to go, and to force the computer to work with DUN instead.

I'm making no comment on the rationality of the law, only on what it actually says. Duh. Pity you have fucked up yet again, it aint illegal, fuckwit.
